It is necessary to measure the finger circumference with a soft measuring tape or a flat piece of paper (not a thread!)
The measuring tool should be wrapped snugly, without making additional allowance just in case! Don't overtighten or squeeze either!
If you're measuring with a piece of paper, make a mark with a pen and place it on a ruler.
